I'm moving to Moscow...

I wish:) Hello again all - I am still alive and well, contrary to some rumors. My life has been very exciting this last few weeks - I've had more fun than I've had the entire summer so far. I've gotten to know some people a lot better than I did before, and it's been really neat to hang out with them. The Idaho weekend was a blast. We left Friday morning at 10-ish. Aaron drove my car up and Christen, Kim, and I rode with him. Joseph and Dan rode in Joe's car. On the way up we played the Un-game which is a deck of cards with ice-breaker questions on them. Some of the questions were pretty deep, but it was cool, b/c we were all comfortable with each other so we learned a lot about each other. The girls and I stayed at Sarah and Emily's house by ourselves b/c they were in Oregon, so it was a lot of fun to "play house":) Friday night we ended up at Bucer's Coffeehouse and Pub until about 1 in the morning just hanging out. Saturday we slept in til way late and then went shopping all afternoon and played soccer with Nethaniel and Lenora and some other ppl from the college. The ball was SO fun - I danced with Joseph, Aaron, and Daniel a few times each - I gotta say one thing - waltzing with Aaron is hilarious:) he can't waltz very well, and the whole time he was trying to be "serious/romantic" by looking deep into my eyes and making these odd faces - It was hilarious:D lol I also danced with a guy who did NOT stop talking the entire time we were dancing - all he did was ask me questions about myself. It was so annoying, so I finally just quit answering and let him keep jabbering.....kinda reminds me of someone:)......yeah, then we went to Bucer's again. Sunday we went to Christ Church - there were so many ppl attending, that it was held in a gym and it was still packed full - I think there were over 1000 people there. Doug Wilson was the pastor - it was a very good sermon about not getting so caught up in all the rules about worshipping (sp?) God that you forget the purpose of your worship - to rejoice in God and give thanks to Him - not that being serious is a bad thing, but not forgetting to be joyful. After church we went to the Greenfield's house for lunch. We hung out there for most of the day. I have some really funny pic's of Joseph dressed in an Arab costume - I'll try to post some pic's of the trip on here later. We also went to Bucer's (again) even tho it was closed - Zach let us in, and made us drinks - we just read or played chess and poker. good times:) We also went to the "Israel in Egypt" concert at New Saint Andrews. We got there halfway through the second half of the concert, but it was still really cool to listen to - I miss choir so much - I want to go to a university just so I can join choir:) yah....so - We left Monday morning at about 10am and got home about 6. I rode with Joseph and Christen in Joe's car - Christen and I laughed our heads off at Joseph, because he was sleeping in the back seat, and he kept fidgeting in his sleep - just like he was fidgeting in church on Sunday. It was really exasperating in church because he couldn't sit still and he was shaking the whole bleacher we were sitting on:) oh well:) ....We all went to Bob's Burgers and Brew when we got home for Daniel's birthday. We got to see Christine and Katie, too. After dinner, we went to the Boyd's house for cake (yummy cheesecake:) and we played some games. They're selling their house and moving this month or next maybe, and I'm going to really miss Katie:) I'll see if I can post some pics later of her baby bro, Joseph, who's adorable:) so yeah, that about wraps up my Idaho weekend:) I'm in the process of typing a post about the party at Damian's, so stay tuned.....:)

This post took me over 2 weeks to type - I just typed a few lines every day:) so my most sincere and humble apologies for making you all wait for this exciting news - cheers!!! luv from me:)
