Ok, an explanation is in order I suppose......*sigh*
welllllll, I haven't been online in over a month, so i was a bit shell-shocked to find out today that I had 57 NEW MESSAGES!!!!!!! yikes. yah.. took a while to weed through them all.
I have been inanely busy busy busy. Work is going well, but it's not my favorite thing in the world to have to be up at 6am every morning of the week to open up the cafe. Yah - NOT a morning person:) We've been doing a lot of catering over the last month, so that means working like a freeeeeeking maniac to get hundreds of lunches out in a few hours time. Tiring to say the least, but it means a good paycheck:) We've also remodeled the kitchen and added a baking room, quite snazzy:), but it's kinda hard to find stuff in new places.
Aside from work.......aaahhh.
Helping plan a 40th anniversary party for my grandparents and ending up having to make all the family posters and albums to display at church......eek, i almost didn't get them done in time....i still have to disassemble them and return the photos to my aunts and uncles:) oops, procrastination:)
Helping plan a harvest fest for the kids at church.... i was gone almost every night for a few weeks (choir and setup).......and I decided to see what life would be like with only 9 functioning fingers!! yah, doesn't work so well:) I cut myself with scissors (yes i'm blonde), and i had to get 4 stitches in my index finger. Brittany was a lifesaver (if a bit of a squeamish one) and drove me to the emergency room and waited with me for 2 hours to get it stitched up!!You're my hero, Britt - sorry if i squeezed your hand to death while i got the needles, and thank you infinitely for not passing out while watching him stitch up my finger:) I really was worried you were gonna go over there for a minute..:D
Getting my stitches out last week was fun, too. I must have cut a nerve because the left side and the tip of my finger are numb, so it's interesting to type because i can't really feel if i press the key or not......oh well:)
Soccer on Friday was painful (on saturday) . I have bruises all the way up my legs because * certain* people (a.k.a. Jsosh and Hunter) kick rreeeeeeeaaaally hard:) ouch!
AHH yes - I almost forgot Katie-deah.......YES I am going to the dance on Friday!! SO excited - - - who from our group is going? and do ya'll wanna meet somewhere and carpool to the DQ in Lynden?
